With Terminal M celebrating their 10th Anniversary, and with the label riding high off the back of their superb ‘Ten Years Love’ EP’s, it seems only fitting that their next release should come from their boss and figurehead, Monika Kruse.
“Wave Dancer” finds Monika returning to a previously unreleased original, stripping it down, and reconstructing as a very simple, wonderfully warped, and super effective DJ tool, in the form of her ‘Do You Have Balls’ Edit. To remix “Wave Dancer”, Monika has teamed up with her long time friend, Thomas Schumacher. Together the pair take a techier approach. Metronomic beats and synth line, overlay the originals pulsing bassline, and together with its spring-loaded breakdown create a most hypnotic take on the original.
Closing the release is the already much hyped remix from Pig & Dan. Matching the hypnotism of the previous mix, the duo unleash their steel drums, which usher in a swarm-like bassy synth. Having already featured on compilations for WIRE and Loveparade, Pig & Dan’s remix is already a firm dancefloor favourite, and proves that the boys most defintely ‘have the balls’! Heavy support by: 2000 & One, Kaiserdisco, Carlo Lio, Tiga, Joris Voorn, Gary Beck, Mauro Picotto, Joseph Capriati and many more!
